Massey Sassafras Road (Rt 299 .5 mi No of Massey, west) Angel's Rest takes its name from a late 17th century tract surveyed by Richard Angel. Throughout the 19th century the house and farm belonged to various members of the Benjamin Massey family. In 1966 the old house was demolished and replaced by a new residence. |
